Psychotherapy is a form of treatment offered by Psychologists. It does not include prescribing medication. Psychologists use various therapeutic interventions depending on the needs of a client and the therapeutic orientation of the Psychologist. Dr. Sapire responds to the needs of clients using an eclectic blend of Humanistic, Existential, Cognitive, Behavioral, EMDR, and Psycho-Physiological interventions as needed. Therapy may be short term (limited to one consultation or a few sessions), or long term, and may be pragmatic, solution-focused, philosophical, sexological, family oriented, or aimed to help clients answer deeper questions about themselves, loved ones, or outsiders. Coping strategies are taught as needed.

- Sport Psychology & Peak Performance. (Competition provokes stress and anxiety.)
